“Wanderlust (n) – a strong desire to travel.”
It started with wanderlust and ended in wanderlost, when I fell in-love with the capital city of Germany. My need to look for more places to explore was put on halt when Bryce, my handsome boyfriend, and myself entered the beautiful city of Berlin.
Berlin is the capital of Germany and one of its 16 states. With a population of approximately 3.5 million people, Berlin is the second most populous city proper and the seventh most populous urban area in the European Union.
No wonder this city immediately pushed my interest button.
We went to Berlin for a total of 10 days, despite missing our flight and having to stay at the airport for two days and blah blah blah. There was 10 actual days of sight-seeing and getting lost in the streets. Most of the sights we saw was actually through just getting lost. The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church was one of these accidental discoveries.
OH YES!! – SHOPPING, SHOPPING and SHOPPING!
I have never seen such massive sales in my life! – 85% off… I mean, what girl would ever walk past THAT! Bryce was dragged into every store possible. Sorry, Babe.
It is incredibly difficult to sum everything up and there is just no words that can really describe the feeling of being in a foreign city, not knowing anything and just exploring and as I said, getting lost with your best friend.
