3D Fiber Lash Mascara
Fake Lashes, falls of within a hour. Lash extensions, damages the lashes or starts to fall out one by one along with one of your own lashes. Mascara, a good lash filler making them darker and fuller. 3D Fiber Lash Mascara…. Oh-Em-Geeeee
I usually slap a few layers of mascara on, but my natural lashes aren’t very long, so it basically just makes it fuller and darker – obviously. I’ve seen a lot about this “fiber lash” thing online but was never able to try it. I just never really saw it in the shops. The results looked amaaaazing so I was super envious of all these girls posting pictures with their doll-like lashes.
3D Fiber Lashes is a mascara – but it’s a little bit more than that, too. The first clue that this is more than just your average mascara comes with the presentation box, which contains two black tubes:
This is essentially a lash extension. It allows you to brush fiber extensions onto your lashes, and seal them in with mascara. This two-step process is incredibly effective at creating that “false lash” effect, but it’s definitely not the easiest mascara in the world to apply, so here’s how to do it…
There are two separate tubes in the box: one containing the fibers, and one containing the ‘transplanting gel’. Before you get to either of those, however, you need to start off by wiping off all and any residue of mascara on your lashes. Some people actually put a layer of normal mascara on before starting but I don’t find the need at all.
First you apply one layer of the transplanting gel. This goes on much like any regular mascara. It actually looks like you are done with one layer on it’s own, but we are not settling for average. So while the gel is still wet, you apply your magic fibers.
The fibers are exactly what the name suggests: “tiny little natural fibers which cling to the transplanting gel on your lashes, making them look longer and thicker.”
After applying your first layer of fibers, end your look off by “sealing in” the fibers with one last coat of transplanting gel. This process can be repeated until you reach your desired look – don’t overdo it though.
Here is my before and after ONE layer of 3D Fiberlashing.
*The only downfall to this magical mascara – it can get lumpy. This can be fixed quickly though. You can just brush them out with a lash comb.
